The petitioner seeks bail in Pipra Police Station Case No. 326 of 2019 registered for the offences punishable under section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, two unknown accused persons on point of pistol snatched bag of the informant containing Rs.1,43,228/- cash and two mobile pohones. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a victim of false implication. He has been implicated in this case on the basis of his own confession. No incriminating material has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 15.11.2019.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18745 of 2020(4) dt.01-02-2021 2/2 Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the petitioner is having criminal antecedent as he is accused in ten other cases of almost similar nature and of Arms Act.

In that view of the matter, prayer for bail of the petitioner is refused.
