Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State through video conferencing.

Petitioner is in jail custody since 15.11.2019 in connection with GRP Patna P.S. Case No. 614/2019 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 379, 411 and 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is not named in the first information report but in course of investigation, one motorcycle was recovered from the house of the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing for petitioner submits that the chassis number of seized motorcycle does not tally with the chassis number of stolen motorcycle and, moreover, the petitioner has purchased the said motorcycle and he was not aware that the seized motorcycle was stolen motorcycle.

Case No. 614/2019.
