The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Bajpatti P.S. Case No. 129 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8/12 of POCSO Act.

Allegation against petitioner (maternal uncle) is of committing rape on informant and forcing her for prostitution to earn money.

Considering the direct allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected. However, trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within one year from date of
