JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 18-03-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Bidupur P.S. Case No. 142 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 325, 307, 379 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

As per the written report the petitioner is alleged to have twisted the hand of the informant. It is mentioned in the written report that the occurrence took place on account of election dispute. It is mentioned in paragraph-3 of the bail petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
