The petitioner has filed the present writ application for directing the respondents to issue arms (Rifle) licence for safety of his life and property for which he had applied on 16.11.2018 after completion of entire requisite document as prescribed under the law.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that on 16.11.2018, the petitioner had applied for arms licence vide Annexure-P/3 to the present application. The said application is pending till date before the District Magistrate, Patna (respondent no. 3). The Respondent No. 3 shall consider the application of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law

Patna High Court CWJC No.6348 of 2019(2) dt.03-04-2019 2/2 within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of this order.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
