This application is for grant of bail in connection with GRP, Samastipur (Hasanpur) Rail P.S.Case No.62 of 2016 for the offence under Sections 20 and 22 of the NDPS Act. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that though the allegation is of recovery of 05 kg. Ganja, which has not been received from the conscious possession of the petitioner rather from a bag, which is not of the petitioner and the petitioner is a lady and she is in custody since 19.10.2016. It has also been submitted that in this case charges have been framed. Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides. In view of the fact that there is alleged seizure of 05 kg. of Ganja from the possession of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1285 of 2017 (3) dt.17-02-2017 2/2 petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage, however, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it as soon as possible preferably within a period of nine months.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
