The writ application has been filed for a direction upon the respondents to make payment of the crop insurance amount

Patna High Court CWJC No.10902 of 2011 (3) dt.08-09-2015 2/2 sanctioned by the Central Government to the petitioners. Mr P. K. Verma appears on behalf of the respondent no.7 and draws attention of the Court to the statements made in paragraph 12 of the counter affidavit wherefrom it appears that the claim of the petitioner for payment of the insurance amount of Rabi crops of the year 2008-09 was examined and thereafter the payment thereunder has been sanctioned and credited in the account of the three petitioners. Similar is the stand taken by Mr. Das who has appeared on behalf of the respondent-Agriculture Insurance Company.

Taking into account the aforesaid, in my view, the writ application has become infructuous. It is accordingly dismissed as having become infructuous.
