The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Kateya P.S. Case No. 191 of 2015, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 179 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. The informant alleged that one Bolero jeep bearing Registration No. BR 1AE-6240 was intercepted and on which sticker was found. The vehicle is of the petitioner and he was using the fake sticker to cheat the Government. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the vehicle was not seized and the petitioner had no knowledge that from which vehicle the sticker was taken out.
