JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 17-08-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. The prosecution case, in short, is that on 4.3.2016 when the informant after withdrawing Rs.2,21,760/- from the S.B.I. main branch, Jehanabad was going to his native village, the petitioner and other accused chased him and fleeing away after snatching bag containing aforesaid amount but they were caught by the nearby people and have been arrested by the police on the spot. The country made pistol and cartridges were also recovered from their possession.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 29.03.2016. Charge sheet has

In relation to the same occurrence one case under Arms Act has been instituted for recovery of one live cartridge. As per the prosecution case, an attempt to snatch the money of the informant was made by the petitioner but he could not succeed. It is further submitted that the petitioner may be released after completion of six months in custody from 29.03.2016.

On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner be released on bail after completion of six months in custody from 29.03.2016 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No.115 of 2016.
