JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 20-06-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). For directing and commanding the respondent authorities to dispose of the representation filed on behalf of the petitioner vide representation dated 17.10.2023.

(ii). For directing and commanding the respondents to make proper enquiry by concerned higher Police official and to take further step against the Private Respondent as Respondent no. 8 who has been illegally appointed on post of

Patna High Court CWJC No.5092 of 2024(2) dt.20-06-2024 2/2 constable in District-Katihar in the year 1979 on the basis of forged and fabricated certificate submitted by the Private Respondent at the time of appointment and further for a direction to the Respondent No.2 to initiate a proceeding for recovery of salary taken on the basis of forged certificate from the date of appointment to date of retirement and pension by the Respondent No.8 keeping in view of the facts that forgery vitiate every things and forthwith stop the pension which is being paid to respondent no. 8."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed.
