Having regard to the fact that the impugned order of punishment passed by the disciplinary authority is capable of being assailed under the relevant service regulation of the Punjab National Bank in appeal, this writ application is wholly misconceived and in fact ill advised.

This application is, accordingly, dismissed.

The dismissal of this application, however, will not come in the way of the petitioner in filing the appeal and if it is done so, the same shall be considered and disposed of in the light
