2. The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing the F.I.R. in connection with Bikram P.S. Case No. 167 of 2018 dated 02.06.2018 registered for the offence under Section 7 of the E.C. Act.

3. From the report of the learned Trial Court, vide letter no. 378/2026 dated 19.05.2026, it appears that on 25.08.2025 defence evidence was closed and the case was fixed for argument, however, on 08.09.2025 a petition under Section 311 Cr.P.C. was filed on behalf of the prosecution which was allowed and two dates were given to produce the evidence.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this case may be disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to take all the points raised in the petition before the learned Trial Court at the appropriate stage.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has no objection to this prayer of the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, the present case is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner, as prayed for.
