2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Gurua P.S. Case No. 19 of 2026, registered under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 117(2), 109(1), 74, 75, 76, 78, 79, 351(2) of the BNS, 2023.

3. As per prosecution case, the allegation is that the petitioner used to chase and molest and one day he molested the girl. The girl in her statement recorded U/s 183 of BNSS has supported the allegation the accused is of 25 years whereas the victim seems to be minor.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Petitioner has clean antecedent and he is in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21272 of 2026(3) dt.18-05-2026 2/2 custody since 16.01.2026.

5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the continued act of harassing a young girl, this bail application is dismissed.

7. It is made clear that any observation made herein is prima facie in nature and limited solely for the purpose of adjudication of the present bail application. Such observations shall not be construed as an expression on the merits of the case and shall not influence the trial or any other proceedings in any manner.
