Petitioner is languishing in custody since 23.08.2016 in connection with Kundwa Chainpur P.S. Case No. 73 of 2016 for offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code as well as Section 47(A), 54 of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016.

About 10 litres of country made liquor was recovered from the possession of this petitioner and the co-accused while they were coming from Nepal to India on a motorcycle. The petitioner is in custody since 23.08.2016 and he has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent.

No.51808 of 2016 (2) dt.30-11-2016 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid, let petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sikrahna at Dhaka, East Champaran in connection with Kundwa Chainpur P.S. Case No. 73 of 2016.
