1. No one appears on behalf of the petitioner.

The petitioner has prayed as under:- "That this is an application for issuance of writ, rule or direction in the nature of certiorari for quashing the selection of Sunita Kumari as Anganwari Sevika at Anganwari Kendra Dhumali Parsa, Ward No. 13, Centre No. 194, BlockGaunaha, Police Station- Matiyariya,

Patna High Court CWJC No.13578 of 2015(2) dt.20-12-2022 2/2 District- West Champaran and further this writ application is for issuance of appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus commanding upon the respondents to select the petitioner as an Anganwari Sevika for village Dhumali Parsa, Ward No. 13, Centre No. 194, Block Gaunaha, Police Station Matiyariya, District West Champaran.

3. In the opinion of this Court, the writ petition for appointment on the post of Anganwari worker is not maintainable, as held in CWJC 21963/2014 which is as under: "Para 2: The post of Anganwadi worker does not fall within the purview of the State or Subordinate Services and is a post under a scheme regulated by guidelines which are not enforceable in law. In view thereof, the writ petition would not lie with regard to the selection process of Anganwadi worker."

4. Keeping in view thereto, the present writ petition is also dismissed.
