====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE ORAL ORDER 16-02-2017 This Court on 8.12.2010 directed the respondents to consider the petitioner for promotion to Inspector of Police from the date his juniors got promoted.
In the show cause filed, it is stated that the petitioner has been considered and promoted on 6.4.2011 to the post of Inspector of Police.
In view of the said fact, the order of the Court stands complied with. The contempt petition is rendered infructuous and dismissed as such.
