The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 1492 of 2014, registered under Section 498 (A) of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, in presence of learned counsel appearing on behalf of O.P. No.2, submits that on the joint prayer of the parties, the matter was referred to the Mediation Centre, Patna High Court, Patna for mediation and settlement of the dispute between the parties, who are husband and wife, and the dispute has been settled by entering into agreement dated 30.10.2017, which the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17702 of 2017 (6) dt.05-12-2017 2/2 part of the report dated 02.11.2017 of Mediator, Mediation Centre, Patna High Court. Further submission is that both the parties have decided to live separate on payment of Rs. Four lakhs by way of demand draft by the petitioner to O.P. No.2. Accordingly, the petitioner has paid Rs. Four lakhs to the O.P. No.2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of O.P. No.2 has no objection, if the petitioner is granted privilege of pre-arrest bail. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the S.D.J.M. Patna City in connection with Complaint Case No. 1492 of 2014, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438
