Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage he is only looking for consideration of his representation dated 21.10.2018 addressed to the Executive Engineer, Electric Supply Division, Muzahidpur, Bhagalpur of South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited as contained in Annexure '7' to the writ application.
A perusal of the representation as contained in Annexure '7' to the writ application would show that the petitioner has
Patna High Court CWJC No.6158 of 2019(2) dt.20-06-2019 2/2 submitted his grievance with respect to the electricity bills issued to him which according to the petitioner is excessive and includes charges when his meter was lying defective.
In the nature of the grievance raised by the petitioner, at this stage without entering into the merit of the contentions, this Court deems it just and proper to direct the Executive Engineer (respondent no. '4') to look into the grievance of the petitioner, consider his representation as contained in Annexure '7' to the writ application and take an appropriate decision either at his end if he is so competent or sent the representation to the competent authority in the office of the South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited to take an appropriate decision thereon.
The consideration of the representation and decision thereon must be communicated to the petitioner within one month from the date of receipt/communication of this order. In case any clarification is required from the petitioner, an opportunity of hearing may also be given to him.
