Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376, 504, 385 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is of commission of rape against the daughter of the informant. Petitioner is in custody since 17.09.2017.

Earlier prayer for regular bail to the petitioner was refused on 17.04.2018 in Cr. Misc. No. 21524 of 2018 with direction to the trial Judge to expedite the trial. The report of the learned trial Judge reveals that the case has been recently committed to the Court of Sessions.
