JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 31-08-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). For directing the respondent authorities to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to Class-III in the clerical cadre.

(ii). For directing the respondent authorities to pay to the petitioner the salary and other emoluments of Class-III post in clerical cadre with effect from the date of such promotion."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Engineer-inChief, Minor Water Resources Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, i.e. the Respondent No. 3 for redressal of his aforesaid grievances.

It is needless to state that in case, appropriate representation is filed by the petitioner before the Respondent No. 3, within a period of four weeks from today, annexing copies of orders passed by this Court, directing for grant of promotion to similarly situated employees, the same shall be considered by the Respondent No. 3, in accordance with law and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed thereon, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
