Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that earlier petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by order dated 12.09.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 63032 of 2021, whereby petitioner was directed to surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of order, but the petitioner could not surrender within time, as he was suffering from COVID-19.

In view of the reasons assigned in the modification

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23224 of 2023(2) dt.17-05-2023 2/2 petition, six weeks further time from the date of receipt of this order is allowed to the petitioner to surrender in the court below. This modification application is accordingly, allowed. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) vinita/- U T
