2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, unknown criminals looted Rs. 10 Lakh from the informant.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and he is in custody since 10.10.2023.
5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that the name of the petitioner has surfaced during investigation and sufficient materials have come to connect the petitioner with the crime. Petitioner is
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26300 of 2024(2) dt.21-06-2024 2/2 accused in 12 more cases of similar and serious nature.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, this application for regular bail is hereby rejected.
7. The District Judge, West Champaran is directed to get the trial of all the cases pending against the petitioner expedited.
8. The Superintendent of Police, West Champaran will also cooperate in producing the witness(s) in the court.
