The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Rajgir P.S. Case No. 350 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Section 30(a)(d) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of huge quantity of illicit liquor from Tata 407 pick up van. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the petitioner is only the owner of the said vehicle, hence he has been roped in the present case, although it is the case of the petitioner that he had given the vehicle on hire. It is further submitted that the petitioner is having a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 27.02.2019.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the

No.19930 of 2019(2) dt.05-04-2019 2/2 case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 6th Additional District & Sessions Judge-cum- Special Judge (Excise), Nalanda in connection with Rajgir P.S. Case No. 350 of 2018.
