JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 16-08-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "To quash the order passed by the Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe, Welfare Department, Government of Bihar terminating the petitioner from service, passed in light of the Departmental Proceeding instituted against him."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the

Patna High Court CWJC No.21711 of 2014(2) dt.16-08-2023 2/2 respondent-State has pointed out that the appeal filed by the petitioner against the order of punishment dated 14.08.2014 is stated to be pending before the learned Minister, Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe, Welfare Department, Government of Bihar, Patna.

Having regard to the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to dispose off the present writ petition with a request to the learned Minister, Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe, Welfare Department, Government of Bihar, Patna to dispose off the appeal filed by the petitioner, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from today, in case the same has not already stood disposed off. 4.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
