The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special Case No. 7291 of 2018 arising out of Agamkuan P. S. Case No. 550 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 272/273/34/120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), (D)/31/41/43 of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Amendment Act, 2016.

In the written report, it is alleged that one truck was intercepted by the police party loaded with huge quantity totalling 3933.360 litres of foreign liquor. The petitioner was apprehended by the police on the spot. He was driver of the said vehicle. He could not produce any valid paper in support of recovery of such huge quantity of

In such circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. The prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
