Heard learned counsel for the parties concerned. 2.

The petitioner has filed the present writ application for a direction to the respondent- authorities to consider his transfer from East Champaran to Sitamarhi on the ground that petitioner is an orthopaedically handicapped person and his wife is suffering from Arthritis. At present, the petitioner is working as Upper Division Clerk in the office of District Education Officer, East Champaran.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a detailed representation (Annexure-P/8) has been submitted by the petitioner before the Regional Deputy Director of Education (In short R.D.D.E.), Tirhut Division, Muzaffarpur on 25.11.2024 for redressal of his grievance but the same has not been disposed off and is still pending before the R.D.D.E. 4.

Learned counsel for the State submits that R.D.D.E. may be directed to dispose off the representation of the petitioner within a reasonable period.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of prayer and the fact that the representation of the petitioner is pending before R.D.D.E. Tirhut Division, Muzaffarpur i.e. respondent no. 5, this writ application is disposed off with a direction to the respondent no. 5 to dispose off the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.
