In exercise of power under Rule 28 of the Bihar Targeted Public Distribution System (for brevity, BTPDS) (Control) Order, 2016, the petitioner's licence was placed under suspension because of his arrest in a criminal case. Mr N K Agrawal, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that during pendency of

Patna High Court CWJC No.9488 of 2021(2) dt.11-02-2022 2/2 this application, the licence has been cancelled by the licensing authority in exercise of power under Rule 27 of the BTPDS Control Order, 2016. He, however, submits that the order of cncellation has been passed in violation of the principles of nature justice.

We are of the view that this application has become infructuous in view of subsequent developments and stands disposed of accordingly.
