JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 21-03-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "That this is an application for issuance of a writ of Certiorari to the concerned respondents by setting-aside the order dated 12.01.2021 passed by learned Additional District Judge-VI, Gopalganj in Sessions Trial No. 181 of 2012 in the matter of State Versus Nagendra Singh whereby and where under the learned court below was pleased to dispose of the petition containing the claim of arrear wages of labour during detention period from 28-02-2020 to 26-10-2020 in the Mandal
Patna High Court CWJC No.9660 of 2021(5) dt.21-03-2023 2/2 Kara, Gopalganj as the petitioner was convicted in the case of under sections 304, 419 and 420 of 1.P.C. on 25-02-2020 and sentenced on 28-022020 with the order of conviction with labour and was released on bail by the Hon'ble High court in the Cr. Appeal No. 1124 of 2020 (S.J.) on 27-102020 and further be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus to the concerned Jail authorities to pay the wages of labour in the jail with compound interest as per the Bihar Jail manual rules." After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
