JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 16-02-2016 By way of the present application under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks quashing of the first information report (for short "the FIR") and investigation of Vigilance P. S. (Patna) Case No. 41 of 2012, Special Case No. 26 of 2012 registered under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 409 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 13(2) read with 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act. 2.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the FIR as contained in Annexure- 1 to the application. The allegations made in the FIR do attract the ingredients of the

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.861 of 2015 dt.16-02-2016 2/2 offences alleged in the FIR.

In that view of the matter, I find no merit in this application. Accordingly, it is dismissed.
