This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to initiate a fresh land acquisition proceeding under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 for determining the fresh compensation for the lands of the petitioners which have been acquired for Daniyana Neora Bari Line Rail Project under Eastern Railway, Danapur. The petitioner is directed to file a fresh representation before the Collector, Patna for redressal of her grievances. If such a representation is filed by the petitioner, the

Patna High Court CWJC No.9487 of 2021(2) dt.23-11-2022 2/2 Collector, Patna, shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law within 30 days from the date of filing of representation as provided under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

In case, the petitioner is aggrieved by the order of the Collector, Patna, he will move for arbitration under the Railways Act.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ petition stands disposed of.
