JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 10-08-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this writ application is being filed for issuance of an appropriate writ/writs, order or orders in the nature of certiorari for quashing of the letter bearing Memo No. 13517/Patna dated 26.09.2014 issued under the signature of Additional Secretary, General Administration Department, Government of Bihar, Patna respondent no. 3 by which the respondent no. 3 has communicated the punishment awarded to the petitioner Under Section 14 of the Civil Service
Patna High Court CWJC No.20449 of 2014(2) dt.10-08-2023 2/2 (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rule 2005 and further awarded the punishment of "censor" and deduction of one increment with uncumulative effect, without giving sufficient and reasonable opportunity of being heard and as much as without considering even the representation so filed by the petitioner against the alleged charges contrary to the law by this Hon'ble Court as well as by the Apex Court of India in this regard and further for any other appropriate relief or reliefs for which the petitioner is entitled in the facts and circumstances of this case."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the order dated 26.9.2014, by filing appropriate appeal. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case, appropriate appeal is filed within a period of two weeks from today, the appellate authority shall consider the same on merits and dispose off the same, within a period of eight weeks, thereafter. 4.
