JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 12-06-2020 The petitioners seek bail in connection with Runisaidpur P. S. Case No. 68 of 2020 / G.R. No. 163 of 2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 30 (a), 30 (g), 38 (i) (ii) and 41 (i) (ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

From the prosecution, it appears that a Balero vehicle was intercepted and from that vehicle approximately 638.280 litres of liquor was recovered. The petitioners are stated to be the driver and the cleaner of the said vehicle. It has been urged on behalf of the petitioners that they did not know about the consignment of liquor which

The petitioners are persons of clean antecedents and are in custody since 13.02.2020.

Considering the afore-stated facts, the petitioners, above-named, are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.D.J.-II - cum - Special Jude, Excise Act, Sitamarhi in connection with Runisaidpur P. S. Case No. 68 of 2020 / G.R. No. 163 of 2020. The petition stands allowed.
