2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 307, 341, 323, 504, 376, 511 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. It is alleged that on 15.03.2024 at 3 PM, while informant was alone at her home, this petitioner came there and tried to commit rape and when informant raised alarm, this petitioner cut her neck with blade.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present case has been lodged after lapse of more than two months and there is no plausible explanation of delay. Both parties are neighbours and there was dispute between two families regarding throwing of wastage of house. He further

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, in the event of arrest/surrender before the Court below within a period of eight weeks from today, let the above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. - I, Hilsa, Nalanda / concerned Court in connection with Chandi P.S. Case No. 308 of 2024, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
