2. Petitioner apprehend his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 64(1), 318(4) and 61(2) of BNS, 2023.
3. The prosecution story, in brief is that the informant namely Kumari Khushboo was married on 05-05-2010 with Sunil Kumar. They lived together as husband and wife, but unfortunately her husband passed away in 2017 due to heart attack. Since then, she has been living as a widow. She was taking care of her minor son, whose father was deceased. Meanwhile, a person named Sandeep Kumar came in contact with her through Facebook where they get acquainted and he expressed his intention to marry her. After some Years, on May 13, 2024, Sandeep Kumar called Kumari Khushboo to the

The next morning, when she woke up, she protested against what had happened, but Sandeep Kumar tried to convince her by applying sindoor on her forehead, signifying marriage, and assured her that he would take care of. However, later on, he started ignoring her and refused to accept their relationship. Subsequently, he leaked intimate video and pictures of her through Facebook, Messenger. On November 1, 2024, she learned about this through relatives, and the incident caused her extreme mental stress.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a person with clean and has been falsely implicated in the present case, it is next submitted that the relationship between the informant and the petitioner is consensual and the informant was willing to engage in the relationship without any coercion. It is next submitted that there is no medical evidence conducted in this case. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that there is no material evidence to substantiate the allegations of cheating or coercion, as the petitioner never made any false promise of marriage. It is also submitted that allegation of sharing objectionable content is baseless and the petitioner is willing to cooperate with the investigation. Learned

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the bail petition.
6. Considering the serious nature of allegations contained in the FIR against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
7. Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail stands dismissed.
