The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 272, 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47 of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.
It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that about 15 liters of country made liquor were allegedly recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It is further contended that petitioner has remained in custody since 31.07.2016. Petitioner claims that his antecedent is clean.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.42752 of 2016 (2) dt.06-10-2016 2 / 2 Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the J.M., 1st Class, Purnea in connection with Tikapatti P.S. Case No.89/2016.
Further, if the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found to be involved in criminal case of similar nature, the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bonds.
