JUSTICE SUNIL KUMAR PANWAR ORAL ORDER 19-04-2023 The present petition has been filed for grant of regular bail to the petitioner which was earlier twice rejected vide orders dated 11.06.2020 and 04.08.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 8448 of 2020 and Cr. Misc. No. 18140 of 2021 respectively.

In pursuance to the direction of this Court vide order dated 15.03.2023, a report with regard to the present stage of the trial has been received and it has been kept at Flag-R. The report of the learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge, Muzaffarpur dated 27.03.2023 suggests that trial will be concluded within six months.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22266 of 2022(7) dt.19-04-2023 2/2 It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is in custody since 20.05.2019 and up-till now no prosecution witness has been examined.

Considering the nature of accusation, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner for the present. The prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner stands rejected.

The Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same positively within a period of six months from today.

The petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail if the trial is not concluded within a period of six months.
