The petitioner had come to this Court for payment of his retiral dues and a direction was issued. The payment having been made, he moved the Central Administrative Tribunal (hereinafter in short the 'Tribunal') for payment of interest because of delayed payment. The Tribunal refused the same. He challenges the order of the Tribunal and prays for a direction for
Patna High Court CWJC No.14203 of 2013 (03) dt.23-03-2015 - 2 - payment of interest on delayed payment of retiral dues. We have considered the matter, in our view, the petitioner ought to have prayed for and sought the relief in the first instance before the first Writ Court itself. Having not done so, it cannot be entertained now. This writ petition is devoid of merit and is dismissed accordingly.
