The petitioner being the husband of the complainant is apprehending his arrest in a complaint case in which processes have been directed to be issued after cognizance being taken for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

The basic accusation is of torture.

It appears that on joint prayer of the parties the matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of the Bihar State Legal Services Authority vide order dated 11.02.2016. The report of the Mediator at Flag-M, dated 06.05.2016 reflects that on none of the occasions the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.41072 of 2015 (5) dt.09-05-2016 petitioner appeared before the Mediator.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that at present he has no instruction on behalf of the petitioner.

In the circumstances, let the learned court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner, if the petitioner surrenders before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Complaint Case No. 283C of 2015, pending in the court of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran.

With the above observation this application is disposed of.
