The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents to grant appointment to the petitioner herein on compassionate ground, as the father of the petitioner died in harness on 17.05.2010.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an application for appointment on compassionate ground on 08.04.2015, however no final decision has yet been taken.

Having regard to the limited prayer made by the petitioner as well as considering the fact that the respondentauthorities are liable to decide the case of the petitioner finally with regard to his appointment on compassionate ground, I deem it fit and proper to direct the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari by filing an appropriate representation along with the evidence about him having filed requisite application in the prescribed format, within a period of four weeks from today, whereafter the learned District Magistrate shall take a final decision within a period of eight weeks thereafter, either way.
