This application for regular bail arises in connection with (Saran) Panapur P.S. Case No. 19 of 2020, disclosing offences punishable under Sections 30, 30(a) 38 and 41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The petitioner is in custody since 10.02.2020. Allegedly the police recovered 51 litres of country made liquor, on the basis of secret information. The petitioner was not apprehended on the spot. His name was disclosed by the persons present near the place, from where the recovery of illicit liquor was made.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that he does not have any criminal antecedent and

This application is allowed.

Let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Saran in connection with Panapur P.S.
