JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 25-08-2022 It appears on perusal of the writ application that a proceeding under Section 147 Cr.P.C. giving rise to Case No.504(M)/2020 is pending before the Sub-Divisional Officer, Buxar (respondent no.4) for over two years.

Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has moved the respondent no.4 for passing some interim order also and in this respect there are reports of the

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1106 of 2021(2) dt.25-08-2022 2/2 Circle Officer and joint report of Additional Sub-Divisional Officer, Buxar and Circle Officer, Rajpur but no order is being passed by the Sub-Divisional Officer, Buxar.

One of the reliefs prayed in the writ application is to direct the respondent no.4 to dispose of the proceeding within a time frame.

Keeping in view the submissions noted hereinabove, this Court directs the Sub-Divisional Officer, Buxar (respondent no.4) to take up the proceeding of Case No.504(M)/2020, hear the parties and dispose of the same within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
