Petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Purnahiya P.S. Case No. 10 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 341, 447, 326A, 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Informant who is mother of the victim has stated that on 25.01.2018 she got information that her daughter has suffered acid attack by the petitioner along with other family members thereafter she came there and brought her daughter to Sadar Hospital, Sitamarhi for treatment.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. Petitioner is the Bhaisur of the informant and uncle of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.66500 of 2018(2) dt.22-11-2018 2/2 victim, aged about 70 years. There is land dispute between the mother of the victim and petitioner. Similarly placed co-accused has been granted bail by co-ordinate bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 20266 of 2018 vide order dated 16.04.2018. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 14.08.2018.

Considering the aforesaid fact and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sheohar in connection with Purnahiya P.S. Case No. 10 of 2018.
