This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Majahidpur (Babarganj) P.S. Case No.231 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under sections 326, 307 & 302 of the Indian Penal Code and under sections 3,4 and 5 of the Explosive Substance Act.

The deceased was killed in a bomb blast in the house of the informant. Subsequently, the petitioner has been made accused in this case. The petitioner is accused in eleven more criminal cases. He is in custody since 03.11.2023. 4.

Considering the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of regular bail. Accordingly, this bail application is rejected. The

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23233 of 2024(2) dt.04-04-2024 2/2 trial court is directed to expedite the trial of all the cases pending against the petitioner and conclude the same as early as possible. If there is no substantial progress in the trial, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
