2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jurawanpur P.S. Case No. 41 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections304(B), 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. According to FIR, the marriage of the deceased was solemnized with the petitioner on 29-05-2023. The accused persons were making pressure on the victim for demand of dowry. On 27-032024 at about 12.00 Noon, the accused persons committed murder of the deceased by strangulating her throat and they were carrying the dead body for its cremation. The police came and the accused persons fled away leaving the dead body in field.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case. As a matter of fact, the deceased had committed suicide and the petitioner is under custody since 29-03-2024.

5. On the otherhand, Mr. J. N. Thakur, learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail by submitting that the mother and the father of the deceased in their statement before the police have stated that soon before the occurrence, she was talking with them on telephone and during that conversation, they heard the sound of outcry and suddenly, the mobile set of the deceased became switched off. Later on, they came to know that she was murdered. The police intercepted the accused persons, when they were carrying the dead body of the deceased for its cremation but they fled away leaving the dead body.

6. From perusal of postmortem report, it appears that ligature mark was found around the neck whereas abrasions were found on the foot and knee of the deceased.

7. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, presently I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly, the same is rejected.
