The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Jamui Mahila P.S. Case No. 72 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Sections 323, 341, 506 and 498-A/34 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and Section 11/12 of the POCSO Act.
It has been submitted that these petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the informant. The husband has already been granted bail by Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide Cr. Misc. No. 50679 of 2016 dated 20.12.2016. From the written report itself it appears that there is general and omnibus
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4437 of 2017 (2) dt.14-02-2017 2/2 allegation against these petitioners. In the circumstances, prayer of the petitioners for anticipatory bail is allowed. In the event of surrender/arrest of the petitioners, named above, within six weeks from today in connection with Jamui Mahila P.S. Case No. 72 of 2016, they shall be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 1st Additional District & Sessions Judge, Jamui, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
