This application for regular bail arises out of Sirdala P.S. Case No. 313 of 2019, disclosing offence punishable under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The police are said to have recovered 20 litres of country-made liquor. Allegedly, the petitioner was found fleeing away from the place from where the recovery was made. The petitioner's name was disclosed by the Chowkidar as the person who had managed to flee away. The petitioner surrendered on 19.03.2020 and since then he is in custody.

Considering the small quantity of country-made liquor, said to have recovered from the place from where the petitioner was not apprehended, this application is allowed.
