The petitioner seeks bail in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No.55 of 2020 arising out of Case No.NCB/PZU/V/11/2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 20(b)ii(c), 25 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

In view of order dated 30.11.2021, a counter-affidavit has been filed on behalf of the Union of India in which, it has been specifically stated that the F.S.L. Report certified the contraband to be charas.

Considering the fact that 50 kgs. of charas was recovered from the possession of the driver, who disclosed the

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
