Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 47(A), 54 and 57 of the Excise Act.

From the godown of Ganpat Kirana Store about 192 litres of liquor was recovered by the police. Submission of the petitioner is that said godown is of co-accused Santosh Kumar, who is full-brother of the petitioner. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 25.09.2016.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48858 of 2016 (2) dt.20-12-2016 2/2 Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur/Successor Court in connection with Excise Case No. 288 of 2016, P.R. No. 80 of 2016-17.
