The petitioner is in custody in connection with Special Case No. 2204 of 2019, arising out of (Alamganj) P.R. P.S. Case No. 239 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 30(a) & 37 (b) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. In the instant case 32.400 liters liquor was seized. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing was recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. He submits that petitioner is in custody since 27.02.2019.
