2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Parbatta P.S. Case No. 146 of 2012 registered for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 385 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of demanding extortion of Rs. 8 Lakh.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 27.11.2024. He is an absconder in the present case which is of the year 2012. He is accused in two more cases out of which one case has been registered for murder.

5. Considering the fact that the petitioner is an absconder and has demanded extortion of Rs. 8 Lakh, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands rejected.
